Volleyball Preview: at College of Charleston


WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The Seahawks look to knock off their second first-place opponent on Saturday when they visit the College of Charleston for a 7 p.m. first-serve.

UNCW (8-15, 2-9 CAA) upended Northeastern to open a three-match homestand last week. The Huskies entered the match leading the CAA with an 8-0 mark, but the Seahawks swept NU for their first conference setback.

Charleston (21-4, 10-1 CAA) jumped into the top-spot in the standings with a nine-match winning streak, including wins over Hofstra, Northeastern and James Madison last week. The Cougars have dropped just six sets during their winning streak.

UNCW closes out its road slate the following weekend with matches at Towson and Delaware.
