Beach Radio Network To Carry Seahawk Basketball, Baseball

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Jacksonville-based B&M Broadcasting LLC and The Beach Radio Network will once again be carrying every game of the defending Colonial Athletic Association champion UNCW men's basketball team in 2016-17 and has added Seahawk baseball to the over-the-air mix.
 
Every UNCW men's basketball and baseball game will be carried on The Beach 94.1 FM/WLSG 1340 AM in Wilmington and New Hanover County and Freedom 97.1 FM/WSME 1120 AM in Jacksonville and Onslow County.
 
The radio coverage supplements UNCW's free live streaming on the Seahawk Digital Network via UNCWsports.com.
 
"We're looking forward to the men's basketball season and are excited to bring baseball to our fans as well," said UNCW Director of Athletics Jimmy Bass. "The Seahawk Digital Network (SDN) will always be our home base, and we're happy to have two of our premier programs on the radio dial to complement our on-line presence."
 
In addition to carrying the men's basketball games, the stations will feature live audio of "Lunch With Coach Keatts" each Monday from Noon-1 p.m. from Buffalo Wild Wings on Old Eastwood Road in Wilmington.
 
"Last season was an exciting one for UNCW basketball and we were honored to be part of it," said Ashley Moseley, Market Manager for Beach Radio Network. "We think it's going to be another fantastic basketball season. In addition, we're pleased to carry games for the successful baseball program, too."
