New Year Brings Redesign For UNCWSports.com

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW's athletic website, UNCWsports.com, has a new look, featuring a fully responsive design that will adapt to any screen for Seahawk fans in 2017-18 and the years to come.
 
Celebrating its 21st year on the internet, UNCWsports.com can be viewed easily on desktop, mobile or tablet-based devices. As always, the informative site will continue to be the primary source for Seahawk news, including the latest scores, schedules, rosters and updates on all of UNCW's athletic teams.
 
"We're excited about this newly enhanced website," said Jimmy Bass, UNCW's athletic director. "It will allow all of our fan base and supporters to have an engaging user friendly experience. Having a responsive design is extremely important since the majority of web traffic originates from mobile devices in today's world."
 
In partnership with SIDEARM Sports, UNCW will continue to employ an easy-to-use Content Management System and private hosting environment to make sure content on UNCWsports.com is always up-to-date, secure and easy to access.
 
Moreover, the Seahawk Digital Network (SDN) is streamed free on UNCWsports.com. It includes live events, weekly shows, student-athlete features and more. Much of the content will also be distributed on various social media outlets, such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

09-28-17            Newly-designed UNCWsports.com with fully responsive design launched through
