10/3/2017 10:59:00 AM

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Jeremy Sullivan has been named UNCW's first Director of Athletics Video Services and Multimedia.

Sullivan comes to UNCW from Charleston Southern, where he has served as CSU's video coordinator the last four years. Sullivan will be actively involved in the promotion of UNCW's brand with the direction and production of live events on the Seahawk Digital Network as well as the creation and integration of video content across UNCW's social media channels.

In addition, the Summerville, S.C., native will assist in digital communications strategies for athletics, providing multimedia external content for web, mobile, social, video platforms and tracking analytics.

In his position with the Bucs, Sullivan produced all of CSU's home events for the Big South Network, posting record views for football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer and volleyball games. He also provided content for CSU's YouTube page, including game highlights, player features, coaches interviews and weekly coaches shows.

Sullivan was also active in the Charleston community. He served as a video producer for the Charleston RiverDogs, the Class-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, as well as the community's United Soccer League team, the Charleston Battery. He directed a six-man crew with the Battery and submitted game highlights to the team and league.

Before joining the CSU staff, Sullivan completed a two-year internship for the South Carolina Emergency Management Division. While at EMD, he produced training videos for the department, helped design the 2011 and 2012 South Carolina Hurricane Guide, and worked in the State Emergency Operations Center during an OPCON 3 activation due to Hurricane Irene.
Sullivan earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Visual Communications from the University of South Carolina in 2013, with a minor in Media Arts. During his time in Columbia, he photographed games for the national champion South Carolina baseball team and had photos featured in The State Newspaper for a story on student veterans.
