WALLACE, North Carolina – Senior
Annette Lyche earned a share of 17th place as UNCW opened play at the River Landing Classic at River Landing Golf Course on Saturday afternoon.

The Seahawks, who are hosting the event for the 16th straight year, ended the first day in 12th place after posting a 635 team score through 36 holes. Harvard, which boasts three players in the top-10, used a 3-over par effort in the first round to take the lead heading into Sunday's final round.
Lyche posted a 2-over par 74 in the opening round before carding an 80 in the second round as the teams battled windy conditions during the two rounds.
Senior
Meghan Theiss is tied for 26th place after firing a two-round total of 156 while sophomore
Kayla Thompson follows in a tie for 47th place.
Freshman
Ellinoora Moisio is tied for 52nd place while sophomore
Alaina Yeatts rounds out the Seahawks' contingent in a share of 60th place.
