Adell Harris and the UNCW women's basketball team will host a nationally-ranked opponent for the first time in three years on Thursday night when the Seahawks face No. 23/21 James Madison in a Colonial Athletic Association contest at Trask Coliseum.

Opening tip-off between the Seahawks and the Dukes is slated for 7:00 p.m. Live video for the game will be available for free via the Seahawk Digital Network with

Now 10-14 overall and 6-7 in the CAA, the Seahawks have won back-to-back games following an 84-78 victory over Northeastern on Sunday afternoon. Senior guard
Kelva Atkins (Granville Central H.S./Stem, N.C.) posted her Colonial Athletic Association-leading third 30-point game of the season while sophomore guard
Naqaiyyah Teague (Malcolm X. Shabazz H.S./Newark, N.J.) added 18 points.

The second-leading scorer in the CAA, Atkins enters Thursday's game against the Dukes with a 17.9 average and has scored in double figures in 8 of her last 10 games. Over the last four games against James Madison, she is averaging 20.5 points per game while shooting 50.8 percent from the field.

Meanwhile, Teague has played well over the last three games by scoring 18.7 points per game while grabbing 8.0 rebounds per outing. She had a career-high 24 points in the Seahawks' 86-82 victory over Elon last Thursday night.

Associated Press Top 25 Poll and 21st in the
USA Today Coaches Top 25 Poll, James Madison will bring a perfect 13-0 CAA mark into Thursday's game at UNCW. The Dukes have won 31 of their last 32 CAA games, including the postseason, and are 22-2 overall this season after a win over Delaware on Sunday.

The Dukes, who have used the same starting lineup for all 24 games this year, are led by junior guard
Precious Hall (Maclay School/Tallahassee, Fla.). The CAA Preseason Player of the Year, Hall is the league's leading scorer with a 20.6 average and has a CAA-high 14 games with 20 or more points. She also ranks third in the CAA by making 80.5 percent of her free throw attempts.

James Madison will be the first nationally-ranked opponent to visit the Port City since No. 12 Delaware on Feb. 1, 2012. It will also be the 12th time UNCW has hosted a ranked foe at Trask Coliseum since the start of the 1985-86 season.

Thursday's game will feature both of this week's CAA Player of the Week award recipients as Teague and JMU junior guard
Angela Mickens received the honor on Monday afternoon. In addition, 8 of the last 11 players to earn the award this season will be playing in Thursday's game.
