Meg Umemoto joins
Caigan Leonard and
Kamrey Watkins as Seahawks earning CAA weekly recognition this season. Umemoto was named CAA Offensive Player of the Week Sept. 21 after recording her first multi-goal game in UNCW's 6-0 victory at Hampton.
Unbeaten Streak
The Seahawks remain unbeaten through 11 matches, extending their best start in program history with Thursday's draw against Monmouth. UNCW surpassed its previous best 10-match start of 9-0-1, set in 2004. The Seahawks have not lost a match since Sept. 12, 2025.
Next Time Out
The Seahawks continue their three-match homestand Saturday, Oct. 3, when they host Elon at 6 p.m. at UNCW Soccer Stadium. The match will serve as their Breast Cancer Awareness game.
