WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Seahawks return to UNCW Soccer Stadium to host Monmouth in their second CAA matchup of the season Thursday at 7 p.m.

Series History
Thursday's match marks the third meeting between the Seahawks and Hawks, with Monmouth holding a 2-1 advantage in the all-time series.

Last Time Out
The Seahawks opened CAA play with a 6-0 shutout of Hampton on the road Sunday. Five different Seahawks found the back of the net, including Macy Lutz, Viktoria Hankova, Ava Vaughan, Elise Larimer and Meg Umemoto.
Umemoto was the only Seahawk to score multiple goals, finding the back of the net in the 69th and 80th minutes. UNCW also scored three goals in six minutes during the second half.

CAA Recognition
Meg Umemoto joins Caigan Leonard and Kamrey Watkins as Seahawks who have earned CAA weekly recognition this season. Umemoto was named CAA Offensive Player of the Week Sept. 21 after recording the first multi-goal game of her career in UNCW's 6-0 victory at Hampton.

Unbeaten Streak
The Seahawks have extended their unbeaten streak following the 6-0 victory at Hampton on Sept. 20. UNCW also enters Thursday's match with one of the best starts in program history, matching its best 10-match start since 2004, when the team opened the season 9-0-1.
