Swimming & Diving Releases 2026-27 Schedule

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW Head Swimming and Diving Coach Bobby Guntoro has released an impressive schedule for the 2026-27 season. The Seahawks open the season with home meets against three members of the Power 4 Conferences.

The Seahawks open their season on September 25, when they host South Carolina.

The season-opening four-meet homestand continues Oct. 10, with Virginia visiting Allen Natatorium. The Cavaliers have won the last five NCAA women's championships, and the men placed ninth last season.

UNCW will also host a Diving Invitational the weekend of Oct. 23-24.

NC State, which saw both its programs finish in the top 10 at the 2025-26 NCAA Championships, comes to the Natatorium on Oct. 23.

The Seahawks will celebrate their seniors the following weekend, Oct. 30-31, hosting Gardner-Webb.

Road meets include the Queens Fall Frenzy (Nov. 19-22), which closes out the fall semester. That same weekend, the Diving programs visit George Mason for the Patriot Invitational.

The spring semester schedule kicks off with a quad-meet against William & Mary, Old Dominion and Richmond on Jan. 8 in Williamsburg, Va.

The final dual meet will be at Queens (Jan. 29-30).

The Seahawks return to the Coastal Athletic Association Championships on Feb. 24-27 in Hampton, Virginia. The men enter the season having won the last five titles, while the women saw their run of three halted last winter.

The NCAA Zone B Diving Regional will be Mar. 8-13.

The NCAA Championships will be hosted in Austin, Texas. The women compete Mar. 17-20, and the men follow on Mar. 24-27.
