WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Head coach Aidan Heaney has announced the 2026 UNCW men's soccer regular season schedule, featuring six matches against five NCAA Tournament teams from one year ago on Thursday.
The Seahawks, who extended their league record with their 29th Coastal Athletic Association Tournament appearance in 2025, will traverse a 16-game regular season schedule that includes eight contests at the UNCW Soccer Stadium this fall.
UNCW will once again play a home-and-home series with the four other teams from the CAA South Division – CAA Champion Elon, Campbell, Charleston and William & Mary – after the league changed its scheduling protocol in men's soccer prior to the start of the 2025 campaign.
A pair of contests with the Phoenix, along with home games against Southern Conference Champion Furman and St. John's and Atlantic Coast Conference road matches at Clemson and NC State represent the Seahawks' opponents who appeared in last year's NCAA Tournament.
The regular season opens on the road at UMBC on Aug. 20 followed by the home opener against Georgia Southern at 7 p.m. The Seahawks begin CAA play vs. Elon on Sept. 5.
A two-game preseason features a road exhibition at Duke, also a 2025 NCAA Tournament Team, on Aug. 8 and a home friendly against Charlotte on Aug. 14.

Season and individual game tickets for the 2026 UNCW soccer season will go on sale on Thursday, June 25, at UNCWSports.com/BuyTickets.
Ticket plans will be available, highlighted by a combo season ticket that includes admission to both Men's and Women's Soccer home games.
Fans can also purchase just the Men's or Women's-only plans for $55/Adult and $35/Youth (12 and under). Single-game tickets begin at $5 for select games.
Children will once again get in free on all Saturday and Sunday soccer games by wearing their youth league soccer jersey.
