Well-Rounded Effort Leads to 4-1 Win for Seahawks

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Three UNCW men's soccer players registered a goal and an assist as the 23rd-ranked Seahawks claimed a 4-1 Coastal Athletic Association victory over Campbell on Friday night at the UNCW Soccer Stadium.

The Seahawks continue to be undefeated in league play at 5-0 and stand 9-2-1 after winning the fourth annual Olivia's Game, honoring the life and memory of Olivia Grace Knighton, daughter of UNCW Hall of Famer Brad Knighton, who was tragically killed in a boating accident in July 2023.

The Seahawks donned special Olivia's Game jerseys that were auctioned off during the match to benefit the Olivia Knighton Endowed Scholarship for Men's Soccer at UNCW.

The Camels remain winless at 0-11-1 and 0-6-0 in the league.

Freshman Cameron Keay secured his first career brace two minutes apart midway through the second half to cap his career-high five-point night after assisting freshman Kristjan Kristjansson's sixth-minute goal along with sophomore Lucas Siikala.

Siikala made it 2-0 15 minutes into the second half after converting a penalty kick goal. Keay followed with the first of two goals 75 minutes into the match aided by Kristjansson and sophomore Kieran Radke.

The Camels' Mikey Morales broke up the shutout with an 83rd minute goal assisted by Andrey Mora Bravo.

UNCW continues play next Saturday at Elon at 7 p.m.
