Neal Announces Three Transfer Signings for 2026 Season

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW women's soccer head coach Chris Neal announced the signing of three transfers for the 2026 season.

"Caigan, Lili and Reagan are great additions to our squad," Neal said. "All three players are coming in from strong programs, and they are ready for the transition to the CAA."

Reagan Hamilton, a 6-foot sophomore midfielder, comes to Wilmington from Appalachian State University. During her time at Appalachian State, Hamilton appeared in 12 matches and made her first collegiate start. She totaled three shots on goal and logged 285 minutes of action.

Hamilton attended Fred J. Page High School, where she was a four-year varsity starter. During her prep career, she earned two first-team all-district selections, first-team all-tournament honors and helped lead her team to region and state championships.

Off the field, Hamilton was a member of the National Science Honor Society and was recognized as one of the top 30 players in the Nashville area. She also earned all-rookie team honors during her freshman year of high school.

Hamilton played club soccer for Tennessee Soccer Club in the Elite Clubs National League in 2023.

Caigan Leonard joins the Seahawks as a 5-foot-7 junior forward from Saint Louis University. During her time at Saint Louis, Leonard appeared in 27 matches and helped the Billikens advance to the Atlantic 10 Championship quarterfinals. As a freshman, she was named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.

A native of Cornwall, New York, Leonard competed in soccer and track and field at Cornwall Central High School. In soccer, she earned all-state honors during her senior season.

Leonard also excelled in track and field, setting seven school records, including marks in the 55-meter hurdles, 100-meter hurdles, 400-meter hurdles, indoor and outdoor 4x400 relays, shuttle medley relay and hurdle medley relay.

Academically, Leonard was a four-year honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society.

Leonard additionally competed for Quick Strike FC and was a member of the Saint Louis track and field team, where she led the performance list in the 60-meter hurdles and placed fourth overall in the 400 meters.

Both Leonard and Hamilton are signed with Port City FC for summer league play.

Lili White, a 5-foot-7 junior goalkeeper, transfers to UNCW from James Madison University. During her time at James Madison, White appeared in 13 matches, made nine starts and recorded 24 saves. As a freshman, she earned Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll recognition.

White attended Maury High School in Norfolk, Virginia, where she competed in both soccer and basketball. During her prep career, White was named a player to watch as a freshman, earned three all-region selections and served as team captain during her final three seasons.

She additionally helped lead Maury to two regional championships and was ranked as the No. 3 goalkeeper in the state during her sophomore season.

Off the field, White was a member of the National Honor Society and honor roll and helped lead her team to state championship appearances.

White recently re-signed with Virginia Beach United for the upcoming season after previously competing with the club from 2022-24, where she also served as team captain each year.
