WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW women's soccer head coach Chris Neal has released the program's 2026 schedule, which features 18 regular-season matches and 10 home contests at the UNCW Soccer Stadium.
The Seahawks will play a pair of exhibition matches before the start of the regular season. UNCW opens exhibition play on the road against The Citadel on Aug. 3, before hosting LSU on Aug. 8.
UNCW begins the regular season on the road at Appalachian State and Western Carolina on Aug. 13 and Aug 16, respectively. Following that swing, the Seahawks welcome Old Dominion to the UNCW Soccer Stadium for their home opener on Aug. 20.
The Seahawks' non-conference home schedule includes matches with VCU, East Carolina, reigning Big South Champion High Point, and Coastal Carolina. Road contests include Western Carolina, Georgia Southern, and Charlotte.
Coastal Athletic Association play kicks off at Hampton on Sept. 20. The Seahawks, who were the overall top-seed in the conference tournament last fall, also visit Towson, Drexel, Charleston, and William & Mary.
UNCW hosts Monmouth on Sept. 2, in the first of three straight home CAA games, which includes Northeastern (Sept. 27) and defending champion Elon (Oct. 3). The Seahawks close their home slate with Campbell on Nov. 1.
The CAA Championship begins with the quarterfinal round on Nov. 5, followed by the semifinals on Nov. 8. The conference championship match is scheduled for Nov. 14.
