Baseball Preview: at NC State

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Seahawks head up I40 Tuesday for a 6 p.m. start at NC State as the two programs cap their home-and-home series for the season.

UNCW, which is in the middle of a nine-game road stretch, dropped its series at Stony Brook last weekend. The Wolfpack, meanwhile, swept visiting Notre Dame.

Both teams will start the same pitchers from the first time they met on March 17, an NCSU 14-2 win. Alex Sobol takes the mound for the Seahawks while Luke Hemric toes the rubber for NC State.

Tuesday's game will be streamed on ESPN+, and ESPN Wilmington, 101.7 FM, will air the game locally in Wilmington. Links to coverage of the game can be found here: UNCWSports.com/coverage.

The Seahawks visit Campbell this weekend in CAA South Division action.
