UNCW Women’s Tennis Adds Presbyterian Standout McKenzie Davis

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW women's tennis has added former Presbyterian College standout McKenzie Davis to its roster, bringing a decorated four-year collegiate career to the Seahawks ahead of the 2026-27 season.

A 5-foot-11 Florence, S.C., native, Davis brings four years of collegiate experience to the Seahawks after a decorated career with the Blue Hose. A three-time All-Big South selection, Davis finished her Presbyterian career ranked among the top 10 in program history during the NCAA Division I era in singles wins (27), doubles wins (30) and combined wins (57).

Davis capped her career with a Big South Doubles Championship in 2026, earning three victories en route to the title. She also advanced to the round of 16 at the ITA Conference Masters Championships and reached the quarterfinals of the Big South Singles Championship.

During her junior season, she earned First Team All-Big South honors in singles and Second Team All-Big South recognition in doubles. Davis was also named the 2025 Big South Scholar-Athlete of the Year, earned CSC Academic All-District honors and was a two-time Big South Player of the Week selection.

As a sophomore, Davis recorded 11 singles victories, including 10 from the No. 1 position, while adding 10 doubles wins, with eight coming at No. 1. She earned Second Team All-Big South honors and was named Big South Player of the Week twice. She was also recognized as a Big South All-Academic selection.
