Baseball Preview: Charleston Southern

WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Seahawks open another brief homestand on Tuesday when they complete a home-and-home series with Charleston Southern. First pitch is at 6 p.m.

UNCW swept a road series at Jacksonville over the weekend as it moved to 10-6 on the season. The non-conference road sweep was the first for the Seahawks since 2020, when they upended Kentucky three times before their home fans.

The Buccaneers, meanwhile, improved to 12-3 with a series win on the road at Georgia State.

The Seahawks dealt the Bucs their first loss of the season in mid-February when Danny O'Brien led off the 12th inning with a solo home run in a 12-11 win.

Next weekend, the Seahawks open conference play with Elon on Friday at 6 p.m.
