Rooijmans Claims CAA Weekly Honors

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW junior Minouche Rooijmans has garnered Coastal Athletic Association Women's Golfer of the Week after earning a share of 15th place at the Purdue Puerto Rico classic over the weekend.

Rooijmans (70-70-73=213) tied for the team lead with nine birdies in the field that featured nine programs ranked inside the top 50, according to Clippd.

UNCW's top finisher, Rooijmans pened the competition with four birdies on the front nine before finishing the round with a 2-under 70. The Eersel, Netherlands, native followed up with a bogey-free second round, also posting another 2-under 70.
