UNCW's Cox Named All-CAA

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW graduate student Rori Cox was honored by the Coastal Athletic Association's coaches as a third-team All-Conference selection on Wednesday.

Cox, whose season was cut short by an injury, led the Seahawks in scoring at 15 points per game as well as in rebounding at 6.4 caroms per outing.

She also paced the league in steals with 2.8 per game. She posted 12 games of three or more steals, including a career-high nine against Queens and eight more against Northeastern.

An explosive scorer, Cox poured in a career-high 33 points in a win over North Carolina A&T and earlier netted 29 at Campbell, including a three-pointer in the waning seconds of regulation to force overtime.
