Cox Named CAA Player of the Week

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Highlighted by a career-high 33 points in a win over North Carolina A&T, UNCW graduate student Rori Cox was honored as Co-Player of the Week by the Coastal Athletic Association on Monday.

Cox finished the week with a 14-point effort against Campbell, bringing her season average to 15 points per game and into third in the conference scoring race.

While flourishing as a scorer, Cox also grabbed 16 total rebounds in two games, handed out seven assists, and recorded six steals. She leads the conference in steals at 2.7 per game.

The Seahawks visit Long Island later this week for games at Stony Brook (Feb. 20) and Hofstra (Feb. 22).
