Taylor Tabbed ABCA First-Team All-Atlantic

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW senior Zane Taylor, the Coastal Athletic Association's Pitcher of the Year, has been chosen as a first-team America Baseball Coaches Association All-Atlantic Region starting pitcher.

Taylor, who was also a first-team All-CAA pitcher, posted an 11-2 mark and a 1.98 earned run average while helping the Seahawks to the conference championship for the 10th time in the last 11 seasons.

The righthander leads the nation in WHIP (0.76) and strikeout to walk ratio (9.88) and ranks in the top five in ERA, wins and walks per nine innings (1.03).

He advances to the next round of voting for ABCA All-America honors.
