Fan Guide: Stony Brook

Game times have changed and commencement is this weekend

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW hosts Stony Brook in Coastal Athletic Association play this weekend as it closes out its home schedule for the season.

Several game times have been changed due to potential inclement weather and travel plans. Friday has been moved to a 1 p.m. start, and Sunday's first pitch will be at noon.

This weekend is a busy one on campus with commencement beginning on Friday afternoon and concluding late Saturday afternoon. Please allow time for congestion on and around campus.

The Seahawks (26-22, 13-8 CAA) enter the weekend tied for second in the league and pushing to secure a berth in the upcoming conference tournament in Mount Pleasant, S.C. The top six teams in the standings qualify for the postseason tournament.

Stony Brook (22-24, 8-13), meanwhile, stands two games out of the final tournament berth.

On Saturday, the Seahawks will honor their 12 graduating seniors before the game.
