Mitchum Collects All-CAA Second Team Honors

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW men's golfer Gray Mitchum has been recognized on the All-Coastal Athletic Association Second Team following a vote of the league's head coaches.

Mitchum was the CAA's fifth-ranked golfer according to the Clippd rankings in 2024-25. The junior averaged a 72.3 score across 33 rounds this season.

A product of Greenville, N.C., Mitchum fashioned three top 10 finishes highlighted by a share of seventh place at the 2025 CAA Championships. Mitchum also finished top 10 at the SeaBest Intercollegiate (9th) and helped the Seahawks win the Seahawk Intercollegiate with a fourth-place result.

At least one Seahawk has received All-CAA honors every year since 2008.
