Altman, Rooijmans Tied for Fourth at CAA Championships

SOUTHPORT, North Carolina – UNCW women's golfers Hannah Altman and Minouche Rooijmans each hold a share of fourth place on the individual leaderboard through Friday's first round of the 2025 Coastal Athletic Association Championships at The Reserve Club at St. James.

Altman and Rooijmans both shot two-over-par 74 to be in a six-way tie for fourth, three strokes behind leader Molly Hardwick of Charleston. UNCW's Valencia Chang is tied for 10th place, one stroke behind the UNCW leaders.

The Seahawks enter the second round in third place after posting a 299-team score. Charleston and defending champion Delaware currently lead the 10-team field, two strokes ahead of UNCW.

UNCW, who combined for 13 birdies in the opening round, will tee off the second round on Saturday. Admission to the championship tournament is free throughout the weekend.
