Levy Lifts UNCW To CAA Lead After 18 Holes

SOUTHPORT, N.C. – Led by Victoria Levy at three-under-par, UNCW will carry a two-stroke lead into the second round of the Coastal Athletic Association women's golf championships on Friday at The Reserve Club at St. James Plantation.

The Seahawks (+4) built a two-stroke lead over Charleston (+6) and three against Campbell (+7).

Levy fashioned five birdies on the day, including three on the back nine, to card a tournament-leading three-under 69 in the opening round.

Joining Levy in the top three was Minouche Rooijmans at one-over and in third place.

Defending conference champion Hannah Altman is 10th at two over.

The Seahawks tee off the second round at 9:20 a.m. alongside Charleston and Campbell.
