Levy Soars to CAA Individual Championship

SOUTHPORT, North Carolina – UNCW redshirt senior Victoria Levy posted an even-par 216 tournament score to soar to the 2026 Coastal Athletic Association Women's Golf Individual Championship at The Reserve Club at St. James on Sunday.

Levy, whose tournament was highlighted by a three-under 69 score on Friday's first round, edged teammate Minouche Rooijmans by one stroke to give the runner-up Seahawks the top two individuals at the conference tournament.

UNCW (292-291-305=888) finished in second place for the third straight year while Charleston repeated as CAA Champions, two strokes ahead of the Seahawks.

Sophomore Valencia Chang concluded the three-day, 54-hole event in 12th place while defending individual champion Hannah Altman fashioned a 13th-place finish.

Freshman Alexis Faieta rounded out five Seahawks in the top 20 with an 18th-place result.

UNCW paced the field with 40 birdies, with Rooijmans, who was named to the All-CAA Tournament Team, holding a share of the most in the field with 12.

Levy, the 2026 CAA Most Outstanding Player and All-Tournament Team member, is the Seahawks' sixth CAA individual medalist (seventh overall), following Altman's victory in 2025. This is the first time a league school has won back-to-back individual crowns since the Cougars' Viktoria Hund and Emma Schimpf in 2022 and 22023, respectively.

The Lausanne, Switzerland, native has earned automatic entry into the 2026 NCAA Regionals next month. Levy is the third Seahawk in the last four years to earn individual entry into NCAAs along with Mallory Fobes (2023) and Altman (2025).
