FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – UNCW's Cameron Snowden placed 19th in the preliminaries of the 100 Butterfly on Friday at the NCAA Championships and became the highest finisher in the women's program history.

Snowden clocked in with a record time of 51.57 seconds, shaving .21 seconds off her previous program and Coastal Athletic Association record-mark of 51.78, set at the conference championships earlier this month.

Her top-20 finish surpassed Carly Tanner's 21st overall in 2013 in the 100 Breaststroke.
