Snowden Takes Fourth In 50 Free Heat

FEDERAL WAY, Wash.- UNCW junior Cameron Snowden finished fourth in her heat of the 50 Freestyle on Thursday at the NCAA Swimming Championships at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center.

Snowden fashioned a time of 22.29 seconds, narrowly missing tying her own program record of 22.26, set at the Coastal Athletic Association Championships late last month.

Snowden has two more events on her schedule for the championships. On Friday, she'll compete in the 100 Butterfly, the event that qualified her for this championship meet. Snowden closes out her week of competition on Saturday when she races in the 100 Freestyle.
