WILMINGTON, N.C. – Redshirt sophomore Kylah Silver earned Coastal Athletic Association Co-Player of the Week honors after posting her second double-double of the season in the 75-55 win for UNCW women's basketball against Presbyterian last Friday.
In the victory against Presbyterian, Silver played 36 minutes and set new career-highs with 22 points and 13 rebounds, shooting 8-of-11 from the field.
Earlier in the week at Gardner Webb (Nov. 19), Silver recorded 11 points and eight rebounds against the Runnin' Bulldogs.
"Kylah worked extremely hard during her year off rehabbing," head coach Nicole Woods said. "She had some good days and some bad days, but she never gave up. I think she's beginning to trust her body again, and we all couldn't be happier for her."
Silver shared the weekly honor with Kayla Lezama of Hampton.Â
