WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW women's tennis head coach Hans Olsen has announced the Seahawks' 2026 spring schedule, which features eight home matches at UNCW Courts.
In 2025, the Seahawks reached the Coastal Athletic Association quarterfinals and finished the season with a 9-7 record.
The Seahawks also posted a 6-2 record against Coastal Athletic Association opponents during the regular season, their most conference wins in a single season since at least 2006.
"Our team is very excited for the upcoming season," Olsen said. "The spring schedule is what we look forward to all year. Go Hawks!"
UNCW will play all eight of its home matches in March. The Seahawks will battle Presbyterian in the home opener on March 1.Â
From March 12-29, the Seahawks will play seven straight home matches, taking on defending CAA champions William & Mary (March 12), Queens (March 14), Stony Brook (March 15), Hofstra (March 21), NC Central (March 22), Drexel (March 27) and Coastal Carolina (March 29).
UNCW will begin the 2026 season at the two-day Florida Southern Invitational from Jan. 31 to Feb. 1.
The Seahawks will play three straight road matches in February, traveling to Longwood (Feb. 14), Mount Olive (Feb. 20) and UNC Asheville (Feb. 22).
Additional matchups include a neutral-site match in Orlando, Florida, against Sacred Heart (March 5), followed by a road battle against Stetson (March 7).
The Seahawks will end the regular season with three CAA road matches against Towson (April 3), Campbell (April 9) and Charleston (April 11).
The 2026 Coastal Athletic Association Women's Tennis Championship will be hosted by William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, from April 17-19.
