Men's Basketball Announces Full Non-Conference Schedule

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW men's basketball Head Coach Takayo Siddle has announced a 13-game non-conference schedule in 2024-25 for the Seahawks that features nine regular season home games at Trask Coliseum along with a road contest at Kansas.

UNCW's non-conference slate is highlighted by three games as part of the 2024 Live Oak Bank Holiday Classic to be held from November 27-30 at Trask Coliseum. The Seahawks will host Appalachian State, Colgate and Sam Houston in the round-robin event.

The regular season opens on Nov. 4 vs. Mount Olive followed by another home contest against Georgia Southern four days later. UNCW then embarks on a two-game road swing starting at USC Upstate (Nov. 15) before making its Allen Fieldhouse debut against the Jayhawks on Nov. 19.

A six-game December begins at East Carolina on Dec. 3. The Seahawks will remain home for four games that month with matchups scheduled against Marshall (Dec. 7), Florida Gulf Coast (Dec. 18), UNC Asheville (Dec. 21) and Spartanburg Methodist (Dec. 28). The lone road game during that stretch will occur at MEAC champion Howard on Dec. 14.

UNCW hosts Fayetteville State in exhibition action on Oct. 30.

The full Coastal Athletic Association schedule will be unveiled at a later date along with times. The league previously announced the Seahawks' conference opponents.
