Isley Selected For NCAA Men's Golf Regionals

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW senior Walker Isley was selected as an individual on Wednesday for the 2024 NCAA Men's Golf Tournament and will compete at the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional on May 13-15.

For Isley, it will be his second appearance in the NCAA regionals after making his debut in 2023 at the Noblesville Regional after helping the Seahawks to the Coastal Athletic Association championship.

As a senior, Isley posted seven top-10 finishes and paced the Seahawks with a 71.84 stroke average. His highest finishes were a pair of second-place finishes at the Gopher Invitational and the Daniel Island Intercollegiate.

Isley ranks second at UNCW all-time with a 71.87 career stroke average.

Isley becomes the fifth Seahawk to earn an NCAA invitation as an individual. He joins Adam Gee (2002), Josh Brock (2009), Patrick Cover (2016) and Thomas Eldridge (2016) on that list.

The Chapel Hill Regional will be played at Finley Golf Club on the campus of the University of North Carolina. This will be the first collegiate men's tournament at this location since 2021. The course was just partially re-opened to members last October after an extensive renovation by UNC alum Davis Love III and Love Golf Design.
