Women's Tennis Falls At Charleston, 5-2

Box Score MT. PLEASANT, S.C. – Coastal Athletic Association rival College of Charleston knocked off UNCW, 5-2, in women's tennis action on Sunday at Patriots Point.

The Seahawks fell to 7-4 with the road loss while the Cougars pushed their record to 12-4.

UNCW earned the doubles point, clinching on Lucia Gomez and Anna Parker Shumate's 6-2 win at third doubles over Klara Vukicevic and Oziera Ahmad.

Katelyn Hubbard posted UNCW's other win on the day, taking a straight-set 7-5, 6-4 win over CofC's Peyton Brotzman at fourth singles.

The Seahawks next host Drexel on Mar. 29 at 9:30 a.m.
