Women's Basketball Preview: Campbell

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The UNCW women's basketball team looks to sweep the season series at Campbell when the two Coastal Athletic Association rivals clash for the second time in three weeks on Friday night at 7 p.m. at Gore Arena.

SERIES INFO
The Seahawks led wire-to-wire for a 59-58 win when the two teams met on Jan. 19 in Wilmington. Redshirt freshman Taylor Henderson paced all scorers with 17 points while sophomore Mingaile Urmuleviciute set a then-career high with 15 markers.

UNCW makes its first trip to Buies Creek in three seasons.

LAST TIME OUT
UNCW's Mary Ferrito and Urmuleviciute enjoyed career days in the Seahawks' triumphant 77-70 victory vs. Hampton last Sunday. Ferrito (22) and Urmuleviciute (20) combined for 42 points off the bench with both registering career highs.

SCOUTING THE CAMELS
Campbell, who is 6-2 at home, looks to extend its winning streak to three games after dispatching Northeastern and Elon on the road last weekend.

Junior Audrey Fuller led the Camels with 16 points vs. the Phoenix while Gianna Boone contributed 10.

LOOKING AHEAD
The Seahawks conclude the weekend at Elon on Sunday at 1 p.m. in the lone matchup between the longtime CAA foes.
