Women's Tennis Eases Past Towson In CAA Play

Box Score TOWSON, Md. – UNCW continued its hot play to open the season on Saturday with a dominant 6-1 win over host Towson in Coastal Athletic Association women's tennis action at Coppermine Bare Hills.

The Seahawks upped their record to 4-0 with their second road win of the season while the Tigers dropped to 0-2 on the young season.

UNCW clinched the doubles point on court two with a 6-2 win from Stela Joksimovic and Alecia Eberwein.

In singles action, Joksimovic clinched the match with a 6-3, 6-4 win at the second position in the lineup.

The Seahawks next host St. John's on Mar. 1 at 2 p.m.
