SERIES INFO
Five players reached double-digits in the Seahawks' 82-77 win in Statesboro, Ga., when the two schools met last December. Friday marks the return trip to Wilmington in a series that dates as far back as 1963.
Georgia Southern will make only its sixth visit to Trask Coliseum and its first since 1988.

LAST TIME OUT
UNCW shattered the school scoring record by 17 points on Monday night in a 143-91 victory over Mount Olive. 143 points were the highest total in the country in Monday's season opener and only five shy of tying the most by a Coastal Athletic Association school against any opponent.

A school-record eight Seahawks surpassed double figures vs. the Trojans courtesy of a program-best 53 made field goals. The 32 assists vs. UMO represented the most helpers under fifth-year Head Coach Takayo Siddle and were two shy of matching the school benchmark.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Georgia Southern enters its second season under Head Coach Charlie Henry, who guided the Eagles to a 10-24 record, including wins in four of their last six games, in 2023-24.

The Eagles, tied for eighth with Old Dominion of 14 teams in the Preseason Sun Belt Poll, outscored Northern Illinois 40-24 in the first half on its way to an 80-65 win on Monday.

ON THE DOCKET
UNCW is idle for one week until it resumes action in its road opener next Friday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m. vs. USC Upstate.
