WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW will next lace its shoes for the 2024 Coastal Athletic Association Cross Country Championships in Elon, N.C. on Friday morning with 13 women's teams and 11 men's squads.

The men's 8K race begins at 10 a.m., followed by the women's 6K race at 11 a.m. on the Elon Cross Country Course. An awards presentation will take place at Noon.

UNCW's Carly McCuskerhas paced the Seahawk women in all three races this fall, most recently a 23:44.3 time in at the ECU Pirate Invitational in early October.

On the men's side, Taylor Anthony has led UNCW in two races while freshman Nicholas Potter clocked a 27:05.2 time at ECU.

Both McCusker and Anthony earned top 5 finishes at the UNCW Beach Blast 5K in the season opener in September.
