Women's Golf Concludes Landfall Tradition

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Junior Hannah Altman paced the UNCW women's golf team, who concluded their fall season at the 22nd annual Landfall Tradition at the Country Club of Landfall's Pete Dye Course on Sunday afternoon.

The Seahawks finished 12th of 17 teams with a 294-294-305=893 tournament score while Altman earned a share of 42nd place highlighted by a two-under 70 second-round score.

Florida State denied Duke's repeat bid by one stroke for the Seminoles' first-ever win at the Landfall Tradition while North Carolina rounded out the top three, two strokes behind the Blue Devils.

FSU's Lottie Woad and NC State's Lauren Olivares Leon finished with identical six-under 210 tournament scores to lead the individual field.

UNCW will tee off a five-tournament spring at the Purdue Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico in early February.
