Women's Soccer Preview: Elon

WILMINGTON, North Carolina -- The UNCW women's soccer team travels to play Elon in its fourth Coastal Athletic Association match of the season at Rudd Field on Thursday night.

The Seahawks enter the 7 p.m. matchup with a 3-5 overall record and a 2-1 mark in the CAA. The Phoenix stand 1-4-2 overall with a 0-2 league mark.

Thursday night's contest can be streamed on FloFC with live stats available on UNCWStats.com.

UNCW will make its first road trip since opening CAA play at Northeastern two weeks ago. The Seahawks rebounded from a loss to the Huskies with a pair of home conference wins vs. Hampton (7-0) and Charleston (1-0) last week.

Junior forward Kayla Burroughs was named an Honorable Mention on TopDrawerSoccer's Team of the Week after scoring three goals, including the game-winner vs. the Cougars.

The Seahawks return home on Sunday when they battle nationally-ranked Hofstra at Noon.
