Fall Baseball Schedule Announced

Seahawks to play three fall games, two at Brooks Field

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW will play three exhibition games this fall, including a road game at Duke in mid-October.

The Seahawks, who captured their seventh Colonial Athletic Association tournament title last spring and competed in their 11th NCAA regional, open the brief slate on Oct. 7 against Brunswick CC at Brooks Field.

The Ontario Blue Jays visit Brooks Field on Oct. 15. The Blue Jays, who are based in Mississauga, are one of the top amateur programs in Canada and have sent multitudes of players onto college programs and professional leagues. Eight alums have reached the major leagues.

UNCW and Duke, who played in each other in the Conway Regional last spring, face off again, this time in Durham on Oct. 21.

The Seahawks open the fall practice portion of their year on Sept. 15 and wrap it up with the final game of the Blue/Teal Series on Oct. 29. The series will be a three-game set beginning on Oct. 26.

Admission to the games at Brooks Field is free. The games will not be streamed.
