Fobes Matches Season-Low in Second Round

ORLANDO, Florida – Senior Mallory Fobes tied for eighth place after matching her season-low with a 67 score in the second round of the UCF Challenge at the Eagle Creek Golf Club on Monday.

Northwestern jumped ahead of Wake Forest with a 270-team score in the second round. The Knights' Anna Nordfors paces the individual leaderboard by three strokes ahead of Mississippi State's Julia Lopez Ramirez.

The Seahawks (285-286=571) enter the final round with a share of ninth place alongside Texas A&M.

Fobes, who shot five-under, achieved par or better on all 18 holes, including five birdies. The East Bend, N.C., product produced three of her birdies over a four-hole stretch from holes 1-4.

The third round commences with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start on Tuesday morning.
