Women's Golf Opens UCF Challenge

ORLANDO, Florida – UNCW's Phu Khine and Mallory Fobes each hold a share of 22nd place with two-under-par 70 scores through Sunday's first round of the UCF Challenge at the Eagle Creek Golf Club.

Wake Forest's Rachel Keuhn and UCF's Anna Nordfors top the individual leaderboard with an eight-under-par 64. The Demon Deacons posted a 268-team score and lead the 18-team field by four strokes ahead of Northwestern.

The Seahawks are tied with Kansas for 10th place with 285 scores.

Khine and Fobes combined for nine of UNCW's 16 opening-round birdies.

The second round will commence at 8:30 a.m. on Monday.
