Seahawks Open Lady Paladin Invitational

GREENVILLE, South Carolina – The UNCW women's golf team opened the Lady Paladin Invitational tied for fourth place after the first round at the Furman Golf Course on Friday.

The Seahawks, who posted a 294-team score, sit six strokes back of tournament-leading Old Dominion following the opening round. North Florida's Christin Eisenbeiss fired a four-under-par 68 to lead the 95-player field.

UNCW's Victoria Levy and Malu Brinker, in her first tournament of the season, recorded an even-par 72 for a share of 15th place. The pair totaled four birdies on Friday.
