Adidas XC Challenge Next For Seahawk Runners

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The UNCW cross country teams compete in their third race in as many weeks on Friday when the Seahawks travel to Raleigh for the Adidas Challenge hosted by N.C. State.
 
The Seahawks are coming off a sweep of the UNCW Beach Blast 5K last Friday at Olsen Park. Contested under the lights, the race featured four college teams.
 
Friday's 6K men's race takes off at 5:40 p.m. at the WakeMed Soccer Park Cross Country Course and the 5K women's competition begins at 6:20 p.m.
 
In addition to the Seahawks and host Wolfpack, other teams entered include Barton, Campbell, Charleston Southern, Davidson, Duke, Elon, Johnson C. Smith, Louisburg, North Carolina A&T, North Carolina Central, Patrick Henry Community College, Rockingham Community College, Shaw, Wake Forest and Winston-Salem State.
