Women's Soccer Announces 2022 Schedule

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – A trip to Atlantic Coast Conference member North Carolina is one of seven in-state opponents on the docket for the UNCW women's soccer team this fall.

The Seahawks, 11-4-1 one year ago, look to build on last season's Colonial Athletic Association regular season crown. Including nine CAA foes, the Seahawks will lace their cleats for 17 regular season matches. The schedule features seven home games at UNCW Soccer Stadium - 10 road matches and two exhibitions.

UNCW opens the season with a three-game road trip beginning on Aug. 18 at Queens, which transitions to NCAA  Division I play this year. The Seahawks and Royals will meet for the first time. The trip continues with visits to the Tar Heels (Aug. 21) and VCU (Aug. 25)

The Seahawks battle Coastal Carolina for the fifth-straight season in their home opener on Aug. 28. UNCW and East Carolina renew their rivalry for the first time since 2017 on Sept. 1 before High Point visits the Port City on Sept. 4.

Two road matches at UNC Greensboro (Sept. 11) and Campbell (Sept. 15) round out the Seahawks' non-conference slate.

The Seahawks take on nine CAA opponents beginning with Delaware on Sept. 22. UNCW will travel to two league members in Hampton (Oct. 2) and Stony Brook (Oct. 16). A trip to defending CAA tournament champion Hofstra will take place on Oct. 13.

The final home weekend features contests against Elon (Oct. 6) and Towson (Oct. 9). UNCW will hold its annual Senior Day against Towson before wrapping up the regular season with a three-game road swing.

Following a trip to Long Island for matchups with the Pride and Seawolves, UNCW will conclude the regular season with a trip down the coast to the College of Charleston on Oct. 23.

A two-game preseason slate features a home match against Ohio State (Aug. 11) and a road date at Clemson (Aug. 14).

The CAA Tournament opens with the quarterfinals (Oct. 27) and semifinals (Oct. 29). The CAA Women's Soccer Championship is scheduled for Nov. 5.

Season tickets are on-sale now. A combo season ticket that includes both Men's and Women's Soccer season tickets is $40/Adults and $27/Youth (15 & under).

Season ticket prices for Women's Soccer only are $25/Adults and $15/Youth (15 & under). All season tickets include a one-time processing fee of $8 and all seating is general admission.

Single game tickets go on-sale on Monday, Aug. 8 at 10 a.m. Tickets to home matches are $10/Adult and $5/Youth (15 & under).
