CAA Unveils 2022-23 WBB Conference Opponents

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The Colonial Athletic Association has unveiled the UNCW women's basketball conference opponents for the 2022-23 season.

The Seahawks will play an 18-game conference schedule, featuring nine home and nine away contests, against all 12 league foes. Repeat opponents on the docket include Charleston, Elon and Northeastern along with CAA newcomers Hampton, North Carolina A&T and Stony Brook.

UNCW will welcome Drexel, Hofstra and Monmouth, another new league member, to Trask Coliseum as home-only opponents this upcoming season. The Seahawks round out the circuit with visits to road-only challengers Delaware, Towson and William & Mary.

The 2022-23 season marks the first time since 2012-13 that the league has not played a full double round-robin schedule. The CAA accommodated regional rivalries with input from each institution throughout the process.

Conference games will primarily occur on a Friday/Sunday schedule. All CAA contests will be available nationally on FloHoops with some matchups on various regional sports networks on the East Coast.

Dates and times for conference games will be announced at a later date.
