Hoshall Earns CAA Leadership Award

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW senior Brent Hoshall was honored by the Colonial Athletic Association as men's swimming and diving's CAA Leadership and Sports Excellence Award recipient for the 2021-22 academic year.

Hoshall helped the Seahawks to the CAA championship, the program's first since 2014 and it's 14th overall. He scored for UNCW in three individual events, including an All-CAA honors effort in the 200 Backstroke where he finished third.

In the classroom, Hoshall crafted a 3.61 grade point average and graduated in May with a degree in Business Administration.
