UNCW Sits In Second After 18 Holes At CAA Championships

SAINT HELENA ISLAND, S.C. – UNCW sophomore Walker Isley carded a four-under-par 68 in his Colonial Athletic Association championship debut as UNCW sits in second place behind defending champion College of Charleston after one round of play on Sunday at the Dawtaw Island Club.

Isley is tied with CofC's Nevill Ruiter for second place behind Drexel's Griffin Mitchell by a single stroke. Patrick Sparks, who is coming off a third-place finish in the regular season finale, is tied for fourth at three-under-par and is two strokes back of Mitchell.
The second round tees off at 10:54 a.m. with the Seahawks and Charleston being paired with James Madison's individuals.
