ATLANTA, Ga. – UNCW freshman
Nic Newis finished 32nd in the preliminaries of the men's 3-meter board at the NCAA Zone B Championships on Tuesday.
Newis, who captured both the 1 and 3-meter titles at the Colonial Athletic Association Championships in February, did not advance to the finals of the event and saw his rookie season come to an end.
Newis finished the event with 245.10 points and he scored 58.50 points on his fifth of six dives in the event to move into 18th.
Next up for the program is the NCAA Championships where sophomore
Brooke Knisely will represent UNCW in the 500 and 1650 Freestyle beginning on Mar. 17.
