Swimming & Diving Preview: Campbell / Georgia Tech

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW welcomes Georgia Tech and Campbell for a tri-meet on Oct. 8 as it continues its season-opening six-meet homestand.

The swimming portion of the meet starts at 11 a.m. while the diving will begin earlier in the morning at 9:30 a.m.

The Seahawks are coming off an impressive sweep of William & Mary last weekend as the men (1-2) earned their first win of the season while the women (2-1) overwhelmed the defending Colonial Athletic Association champion Tribe.

Earlier this weekend, UNCW swept the CAA weekly honors. Aidan Duffy and Maura Schoppa were the swimmers of the week while Ethan Badrian and Courtney Klausen were honorees in diving.

Campbell has split its first two meets, knocking off UNCP but falling to Liberty.

Georgia Tech swept a dual meet from Emory last weekend to open the season.

UNCW will have two weeks off from competition before hosting North Carolina on Oct. 15.
