SUNSET, South Carolina – After attempting to complete the Clemson Invitational in just two days, the tournament will require a third day as weather halted play during the third round on Saturday at The Reserve at Lake Keowee.
The field of 18 teams had finished the second round and were just a few holes shy of completing the 54-hole tournament when a pair of thunderstorms forced the teams off the course. Play resumes on Sunday (Mar. 28) at 8:30 a.m. as the teams play the final few holes.
UNCW stands 15th in the field after carding a 299 team score in the second round. Kent State, rated No. 24 in the GolfStat rankings, continues to lead the field after posting a 292 team score in the second round and will resume play with a five-stroke advantage over No. 30 Clemson.

Mallory Fobes and junior
Phu Khine are tied for 23rd place at 4-over-par. Fobes posted an even-par 72 in the second round and is 1-over-par through 15 holes in the third round while Khine finished 4-over-par in the second round and stands 2-under-par through 15 holes.
